What happens when you lead with story instead of a solicitation? In 2020, my team found out. After interviewing warrior Nick Morrison and his family about his deeply personal journey with PTSD, we produced a documentary that aired on national TV on Veterans Day — one of the most watched days of the year for veteran content. We never asked a single viewer for money. We didn't have to.

A Story So Powerful It Moved People to Give — Without Ever Asking

My team had the great privilege of interviewing warrior Nick Morrison and his family about his journey with PTSD. His story was so riveting we produced a documentary and it aired on national TV on Veterans Day 2020. Our goal was to drive awareness about WWPs efforts to aid warriors. We inspired viewers and without any ask for money, we saw significant YOY increases in donations.
